Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 March 2026  ·  Policy version: 1.0

This Cookie Policy explains how Chain Atlas uses cookies and similar technologies, what choices you have, and how to manage your preferences in compliance with GDPR and the EU ePrivacy Directive.

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how TAMTRADETAM S.R.L. ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Chain Atlas platform ("Platform"), available at chain-atlas.com.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further information about how we process personal data. By continuing to use the Platform after being presented with the cookie consent banner, you acknowledge this Cookie Policy.

This document is maintained at policy version 1.0. When we make material changes to the types of cookies we use, we will update this version number and re-prompt users for consent.

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to website operators.

Similar technologies include web beacons (also called tracking pixels), local storage, and session storage. These technologies function in a comparable way to cookies and are subject to the same consent requirements under the EU ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR.

Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored on your device for a defined period or until you delete them). They can be set by the website you are visiting (first-party cookies) or by third-party services embedded in that website (third-party cookies).

3. Categories of Cookies We Use

We use the following categories of cookies on the Chain Atlas Platform:

Strictly Necessary Cookies — These cookies are essential for the Platform to function and cannot be switched off. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, setting your privacy preferences, or filling in forms. Without these cookies, the Platform cannot operate correctly. No consent is required for strictly necessary cookies under applicable law.

Analytics Cookies — These cookies allow us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of the Platform. They help us understand which pages are the most and least popular and how visitors move around the site. All information collected by these cookies is aggregated and therefore anonymised. If you do not allow these cookies, we will not know when you have visited the Platform.

Functional Cookies — These cookies enable the Platform to provide enhanced functionality and personalisation. They may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we have added to our pages. If you do not allow these cookies, some or all of these services may not function properly.

Marketing Cookies — These cookies may be set through the Platform by our advertising partners. They may be used to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant content on other sites. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and internet device. If you do not allow these cookies, you will experience less targeted advertising.

4. Specific Cookies Used

The following table describes the main cookies currently in use on the Platform:

Strictly Necessary: • ca_session — Session authentication token. Duration: session. Purpose: Maintains your logged-in state. • ca_csrf — Cross-site request forgery protection token. Duration: session. Purpose: Security. • ca_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie consent preferences. Duration: 12 months. Purpose: Remembers your consent decision and policy version.

Analytics: • _ca_analytics — Platform usage analytics. Duration: 13 months. Purpose: Aggregated page view and session data to improve the Platform.

Functional: • ca_prefs — User interface preferences. Duration: 6 months. Purpose: Remembers display settings and language preferences.

Marketing: • Marketing cookies are currently optional and only activated with your explicit consent. No marketing cookies are loaded by default.

This list may be updated as the Platform evolves. We will update this Cookie Policy and re-prompt for consent whenever new non-essential cookies are introduced.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on the Platform are set by third-party services that we use to enhance functionality. These include:

Stripe — When you access the payment or billing sections of the Platform, Stripe may set cookies to enable secure payment processing, fraud prevention, and to remember your payment preferences. Stripe's cookie usage is governed by Stripe's own Cookie Policy at stripe.com/cookies-policy.

Analytics Providers — We use analytics services to understand Platform usage. These services may set their own cookies to collect aggregated, anonymised data about how users interact with the Platform.

We do not control third-party cookies. Please refer to the privacy and cookie policies of the respective third parties for more information about how they use cookies and how you can opt out.

7. Changing Your Cookie Preferences

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of any page on the Platform. This will re-open the preference panel where you can update your choices.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to: • View and delete cookies already stored on your device. • Block cookies from being set by all or specific websites. • Set your browser to alert you when a cookie is being set.

Please note that if you block or delete strictly necessary cookies through your browser settings, some parts of the Platform may not function correctly. For guidance on managing cookies in your specific browser, visit the browser's help documentation or allaboutcookies.org.

8. Cookie Retention Periods

Cookies are retained for the following periods:

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.

Persistent cookies are stored on your device until they expire or you delete them. The retention period for each persistent cookie is described in Section 4 of this policy.

Consent records stored in your browser's local storage are retained for 12 months, after which you will be re-prompted to provide consent. Consent records are also renewed whenever the cookie policy version changes.
